and What I Do

I graduated from the Maui School of Therapeutic Massage in 2008 and have been practicing massage since then in California, Oregon, and Washington.  I am certified in Cupping, Hot Stones, Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT), Gua Sha.

Over the years I have worked in hospitals with postpartum mothers, medical massage offices, and with a mobile massage team that frequented sporting events (think 100 mile cycling race).  This variety is a big part of what I love about being a massage therapist!  I have a firm, slow touch and I utilize cupping and heat to help unwind stuck muscles.  Expect each session to be different, tailored to your body's aches and pains at that moment.

After having three kids, I can empathize with how incredibly important bodywork is while pregnant.  I will use lots of pillows to keep your joints in alignment while you rest in side-lying position.  Once the baby is born, I offer in-home massage so you don't have to pack up or find a sitter.  If you are itching to get out of the house though, please feel free to bring your newborn.  This is a kid-friendly space!

If you or someone you know is facing financial hardship or qualifies for state insurance, let me know and I will adjust my prices by half.  My goal is to make massage available to as many people as possible.  I will honor this for up to fifty percent of my clientele.
